Antonina Shevchenko
Antonina is a Kyrgyzstani Peruvian Muay thai fighter, mixed martial artist and currently is a competitor with the UFC flyweight division. Valentina Shevchenko, a former UFC Flyweight titleholder and UFC friend of hers is her younger sister. Antonina Shevchenko, an experienced Muay Thai boxer started her fight sports career at her first IFMA World Championship Tournament. Shevchenko was victorious in this event in a unified victory against Suzane Miller. Antonina continued her career by taking home bronze and silver medals in 2007 and 2008 respectively, a Gold medal in 2011 along with the title of 2016 IFMA amateur Muay Thai world champion. Antonia started her professional career in 2003, and she took home the WKC K-1 Light Welterweight World Championship in 2012. She also won the Lion Fight Lightweight Championship in 2016, and also the WMC as well as the Phoenix FC World Championships in the year 2016. Antonina fought Isa Tidblad Keskikangas in the final round of Phoenix Fighting Championship. The fight was won by a unanimous vote. Antonina Schevchenko set professional MMA records in 2002, when she fought Anara Bazanova at KFK Cup in Kyrgystan. She took the win by second round TKO and then won the next two fights at WXF: X-Impact World Championships 2003 to amass the record of three-three. Shevchenko was absent from MMA to focus on kickboxing. She returned against Anissa haddaoui, at Phoenix FC 3, 2017. Shevchenko was victorious against Anissa Haddaoui in an unanimous decision. She was then able to defeat Valerie Domergue, at Phoenix FC 4, in the same decision. She left the club and began Dana White's Contender Series 2018. Shevchenko wrestled Jaimelene Nievera as part of Dana White's Tuesday Night Contender Series. Antonina made use of superior striking in order to TKO Nievera by knees to her body during the clinch.
