
Under the direction of Frank Connelly, their first manager, they took a few time in Boston's club circuit. The group then began working with Steve Leber (New York) and David Krebs (New York). Their debut album, which was named "Eponymous", was released in 1973. They got a recording contract in the year 1972. The album was followed by Get Your Wings and Toys in the Attic and Rocks. The album brought Aerosmith international fame and recognition. These albums produced iconic hits such as "Dream On", "Walk This Way" and "Sweet Emotion". Aerosmith's initial five albums have also all gone multi-platinum, and Toys in the Attic and Rocks are considered to be among the top hard rock albums of all time. Aerosmith began to feel the effects of their hectic way of recording, touring, living together and using substances as the decade progressed. For their notorious use of heroin and stimulants Tyler and Perry were often called the Toxic Twins. Aerosmith Behind the Music has numerous videos that demonstrate their relationship. Tyler is, evidently, more committed to the band appeared to dislike Perry's passive manner and admired Perry's priority for females in his life. Aerosmith was in decline around 1980 because of tensions between Perry and Tyler.
